Sec. Secondary Education Department Mr. Lal Jan Jaffar Inaugurates Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) Program at GTMS Quetta

QUETTA — In a significant milestone for primary education in Balochistan, the Department of Secondary Education has officially launched the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) initiative across 16 target districts. The inauguration took place at Government Technical Model School (GTMS), Quetta, led by Secretary Secondary Education Department, Mr. Lal Jan Jaffar.

Supported and co-funded by UNICEF and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) under the Balochistan Student Learning Improvement Programme (BSLIP), the TaRL model provides teachers with practical tools to strengthen foundational Literacy and Numeracy skills.

Key Statement from the Inauguration

“Our focus is shifting from simply completing syllabus textbooks to guaranteeing actual learning outcomes. Teaching at the Right Level allows teachers to evaluate children according to their current learning level and provide tailored support so no child is left behind in basic reading and arithmetic.”

بلوچستان میں بنيادی تعلیم کی بہتری کے لیے اہم پیش رفت!

محکمہ تعلیم بلوچستان نے UNICEF اور GPE کے تعاون سے 16 اضلاع میں “ٹیچنگ ایٹ دی رائٹ لیول” (TaRL) کا باقاعدہ آغاز کر دیا ہے۔

سیکرٹری تعلیم جناب لال جان جعفر نے گورنمنٹ ٹیکنیکل ماڈل اسکول کوئٹہ (GTMS Quetta) میں تعلیمی مواد کی فراہمی کے ساتھ اس پروگرام کا باقاعدہ افتتاح کیا، تاکہ اساتذہ بچوں کی تعلیمی ضروریات کے مطابق ان کی بنیادی خواندگی اور حساب (Literacy & Numeracy) کی صلاحیتوں کو مزید مضبوط بنا سکیں۔
